The Department of Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering was established in 2004 as a result of the tremendous development in the fields of science and technology. The department includes two scientific branches, the laser engineering branch and the optoelectronics engineering branch. The department awards master's and doctoral degrees in the specializations of laser engineering and optoelectronics engineering.
